Zuhoor - Founder

Our Story
Some journeys are shaped quietly—through patience, partnership, and purpose.
After completing my engineering, life unfolded into marriage and motherhood, blessing me with two children. While those years were rich with meaning, they were also marked by a period of professional stillness—five years that tested resilience and redefined ambition.
It was during this time that I returned to what had always inspired me: India’s exquisite handicrafts and the artistry of hand-woven, hand-embroidered textiles. With the constant encouragement and belief of my husband, what began as a personal passion evolved into a shared vision. From the very beginning, this journey was never mine alone—Zuhoor was built together, rooted in trust, patience, and unwavering support.

The Soul of Zuhoor
As our path deepened, one truth became undeniable—the true heritage of India lives in Kashmir.
Pashmina, revered across the world, is not merely a fabric but a rare art form. Preserved by only a handful of master artisans, it carries centuries of tradition, skill, and quiet excellence. Encountering this endangered craft transformed inspiration into responsibility.
From that responsibility, Zuhoor was born.
Meaning appearance or emergence, Zuhoor represents the union of heritage and modern refinement. Each creation is meticulously handcrafted to honor Kashmir’s legacy and the artisans who sustain it—designed for those who value authenticity, intention, and enduring elegance.
Zuhoor is not fast fashion.
It is patience.
It is provenance.
It is luxury with a soul—created together.
